How much does Inogen battery rebuilding cost?

Rebuilding an Inogen One battery at Axis Batteries costs €60 for a standard 8-cell pack (G2, G3, G4) and €130 for an extended 16-cell pack (G2, G3, G5). The price includes new cells, full diagnostics, any BMS repair needed, calibration, final testing and a 12-month written warranty.
Inogen battery rebuild prices at a glance
There are two fixed prices, depending on the size of the cell pack inside your battery. Shipping is not included and is chosen when you place the order.

Not sure which one you have? Check the part number on the battery label, or count on the size: the extended (double) battery is noticeably longer and heavier than the standard one. If your pack is not listed above, write to us before sending it and we will tell you whether we can rebuild it.
What is included in the price
The price covers the whole job, not just the cells. Every battery goes through the same process:
- Diagnostics of the cells, the BMS (battery management electronics), the temperature sensor and all connections.
- Repairs of the BMS, thermistor or connections if they are needed, at no extra charge.
- A complete new cell pack: all worn cells are replaced with new 18650 Li-ion cells from Samsung, LG or Sanyo.
- Spot welding with 0.2 mm nickel strip, inside the original Inogen housing.
- BMS programming: the cycle counter is reset and the charge indicator is calibrated to the new cells.
- Final test of capacity, voltage stability and temperature.
- 12-month written warranty on the rebuilt battery.
The original BMS electronics and connectors stay in place, so the battery fits and charges exactly as before. Your original Inogen charger keeps working and you do not need to buy a new one.

Honest trade-offs
Axis Batteries is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, authorized or endorsed by Inogen, Inc. "Inogen" and "Inogen One" are trademarks of Inogen, Inc. A rebuilt battery is therefore not an original Inogen product, and any manufacturer warranty on the battery does not apply to the rebuilt pack. Our own 12-month warranty covers it instead.

What is not included
- Shipping to us and back. Return shipping is by InPost parcel locker in Poland or by courier elsewhere in Europe, selected in the order form.
- Batteries you decide not to rebuild. If you choose not to go ahead after diagnostics, we return the battery at your cost or dispose of it free of charge.
How to order
Choose your battery model and shipping method in the order form on our website and pay securely via Stripe. Then send us the battery.
